Supporters Evening Darfield

The RATA teachers who live in Canterbury are holding an information evening at Darfield Primary School, Ross Street on Tuesday 16 June at 7.30pm. You are really welcome to come along and hear the story of RATA and meet 3 of the teachers I will be travelling with - Christine (Darfield Primary School) Anney (Aorangi School) and Cheryl who is a former principal (Fendalton Open Air and Richmond).
Cheryl will give a talk on Educational issues facing the 21st Century learner. Anney and Christine will share about their previous trips to The Ark School. Supper will be provided - a plate is optional - but only if you have the time to get something together. Come regardless.
Drive through Darfield township and turn left at the far end of town into Ross Street - the school hall is on your right.
Some of us plan to meet at the Terrace Cafe in Darfield for dinner around 6pm. You are welcome to turn up and join us. As you drive into Darfield from Christchurch this cafe/pub is on your right. If you have the Entertainment book there's a coupon in it to get a cheap meal.
