Anne Again

Remember Anne, from my first post? She was the stranger who really inspired and encouraged and confirmed for me that I should go to Cape Town. Well, Anne is rapidly becoming a friend. She surprised me by phoning from Tauranga last night, to let me know she is driving over to Cambridge this coming Friday to be with me at the Rata Supporters dinner. Before phoning me she had contacted Rata's Organiser, Glenys Bichan, and had also arranged to stay the night with me at Monavale. I feel totally humbled by Anne's generosity of time and support for me. I'm sure she wouldn't mind me saying, that while young in spirit and zest for life, Anne is not so young in years, so driving presents its own challenges. I got the feeling Anne is almost as excited as I am!!
